There are few shows I regularly watch, but I’ve been a fan of How I Met Your Mother for the last couple years. Neil Patrick Harris is of course – wait for it – “Legendary” and the storylines make me giggle. I have to admit though, my patience is waning. Seriously, who is the mother??? Enough already! Anyway, I digress. Last night I tuned in and was intrigued with one of the messages that surfaced. If you aren’t familiar with the show, one of the characters, Lily (played by Alyson Hannigan), is a Kindergarten teacher and new mom. She married her college sweetheart, Marshall, and has always had a passion for art. She studied Art History and spent time overseas painting and learning her craft.

Still, somewhere along the way, it was time to get the secure job, thus she became a teacher.
